In order to legally perform construction in Nevada, you will need to obtain a Nevada contractor’s license. Attached is an application for your convenience. Another state license may waive the trade exam based on licensure by endorsement. You may review endorsement requirements click here
It is recommended that you check for similarly named licensed contractors prior to choosing a name. The NSCB cannot issue a license in similar name to another license and which could cause confusion to the public. Also, below is a link with instructions and guidance on how to apply for a license. Additionally, the NSCB offers a live, interactive application assistance program (Business Assistance Program) using Zoom, the 3rd Tuesday of each month, hosted by one of our license analysts.
